About Mesut Toprak, MD
Dr. Toprak is an AP/CP Board Certified pathologist with fellowship training in gastrointestinal pathology. He also has a special interest in oncologic surgical and gynecologic pathology.
Dr. Toprak received his M.D. at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in Turkey. He completed residency in Anatomic and °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Pathology at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health in Staten Island, New York. He then completed a Gastrointestinal and Liver Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Toprak joins us at Brooklyn Methodist as a general surgical pathologist specializing in frozen sections.
