About Amanda Neilan, C.P.N.P., M.S., RN
Amanda Neilan, CPNP is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner for the Pediatric Urology practice within the Department of Urology. Amanda treats patients with voiding dysfunction, bedwetting, urinary incontinence, frequency, urgency, recurrent UTIs, and penile/labial adhesions. Amanda also has advanced training in performing and interpreting infant and pediatric video urodynamics, uroflowmetry, and biofeedback therapy.
Amanda earned a Master of Science from New York University, where she completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Binghamton University. Amanda is licensed in New York State and is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners. Prior to joining the Pediatric Urology team, Amanda worked as a nurse practitioner in Pediatric ENT at NYP/Weill Cornell and as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Amanda is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care for her patients. She encourages families to take part in the development of an evidence-based, comprehensive treatment plan.
